New Frameless Shower Room in Weymouth

We recently finished a small shower room renovation in Weymouth, Dorset. The customers requested a special made to measure shower area to fit their unusual space, which we were able to design, supply and fit as a complete service.

The sloping ceiling posed a unique challenge to our design team. Using Virtual Worlds’ 3D technology, we came up with an elegant solution: a semi frameless inline shower enclosure designed by our in-house made to measure showers team. The result is a stylish shower area that fits perfectly under the eaves.

A complete bathroom overhaul

The old bathroom was cursed with a water-damaged floor. Our installation team ripped out the damaged areas and put down a new raised floor. For the shower area we built a brand new stud wall and a new niche in the shower wall for bathing products. Our team also installed a new shower tray on a raised ply to match the raised floor.

Picking the right products

The homeowners wanted a modern, minimalist look for the entire space. They chose large 600×300 Monana Bone wall tiles by Waxman with a décor feature on the shower wall to match the floor tiles. We suggested Duravit’s Delos range for the seamless wall hung vanity units to complement the gloss white basin.

The bright, modern vibe is augmented by a low profile shower tray by Crosswater, as well as a chrome-finished Vado showering package with a concealed valve. The homeowner’s concerns about winter cold are addressed by German-made Thermonet underfloor heating, with a programable thermostat for custom settings.
