Mr and Mr L bought their new property in early 2018 with the intention of renovating the old bathroom and cloakroom. They approached us for a complete start-to-finish service, from designing the bathrooms using the latest ‘Virtual Worlds’ 3D technology to installing their chosen products.
Designing a stylish and practical bathroom
We first needed to visit Mr and Mrs L’s house in Studland to carry out a comprehensive site survey. We measured up each room to get an accurate sense of the space, and spoke with the homeowners about their wants and needs for the new project. Using this information, our design team put together a series of inspiring 3D bathroom designs from which to choose.
Choosing the best products
The homeowners wanted a contemporary look to the main bathroom. To this end, we used Woodstock Calypso fitted furniture and a chic laminate beige stone worktop. This clean, modern vibe is enhanced by a large walk-in shower area with a Crosswater anti-slip tray and Vado showering package. For the cloakroom, the customers were delighted with the Plan 500 unit and basin, the Joy tap and Debut pan, all by Roper Rhodes.
Luxury Karndean vinyl flooring
In the modern cloakroom we used wood effect vinyl flooring planks by Karndean, installed by our Karndean accredited fitters. This durable and stylish flooring is a real miracle worker for those seeking a wood-effect bathroom floor, and is a great alternative to ceramic or porcelain tiles. Unlike solid wood it will last for many years without degrading.
