The obvious challenge when planning and designing en-suite bathroom facilities in a loft conversion are the sloping ceilings and reduced usable walk-in area. With the shower head needing to be situated above head height, the shower enclosure or wet room will necessarily be situated close to or directly under the ridge line and immediately adjacent to one or more sloping ceilings. This will probably preclude the use of a standard 1900mm or 2000mm high enclosure, but this can be overcome using a custom made loft shower enclosure or screen that will be manufactured to meet the precise angles and height of your ceilings.
